Please rest assured that our centre is taking additional precautions in line with government health advice but we are happy to advise that we are still open for trade to continue to service our customers needs.
Please see below changes to our supermarket trading times
From Monday, 30 March 2020 until at least Friday 3 April 2020, the below changes from Woolworths will come into effect to further support the health and wellbeing of customers and team:
Our dedicated Community Hour will continue from 7am-8am for the following groups:
Seniors and People with a Disability – Monday, Wednesday & Friday
*NEW* Emergency Services & Healthcare Workers – Tuesday & Thursday
– Terms and conditions apply – click here for more info
At this stage, our Glenmore Park Store will close at 8pm. Trading Hours are available HERE
Our teams on checkouts will now rotate every two hours to ensure face-to-face interactions are limited to keep everyone safer
Lastly we ask customers to pack their own shopping bags at the checkout as a further protection measure for both store teams and customers. If a customer’s shopping bag is not clean, we will replace it for free.
The above are in addition to social distancing measures implemented by Woolworths earlier this week including:
A store greeter to wipe down baskets, trolleys and inform customers of recent changes, such as social distancing cues including keeping 1.5m apart, adjusted trading hours and product limit information.
Closing some registers in the self serve and express check outs to provide additional space between customers in those areas.
Encouraging customers to use tap and pay wherever possible
Additional deep cleaning and hygiene processes and security guard coverage across every store
Coles supermarkets will temporarily change their trading hours to open 7am to 10pm on weekdays, with the first hour* of trade open exclusively to customers who hold certain government-issued Cards.
Mon, Wed & Fri – Exclusive shopping for people aged 65 and over, plus those with disabilities or concession cards^
Tues & Thurs – Exclusive shopping exclusively for emergency services and healthcare workers who hold an AHPRA card, have a workplace ID or are wearing their work uniform^
Once this hour is complete, all other customers will be invited through the doors to complete their grocery shop.
Coles will also close at 10pm to give team members the time and space to extensively clean our stores and replenish the shelves for customers the next day.
^ these arrangements will be reviewed as necessary.
8:30am – 7pm
We will be changing all stores trading hours to 8:30am – 7pm nationally, unless other state and local trading restrictions apply.
Our employees, Australian business partners and transport operators have been working incredibly hard to deliver more products than ever into stores each day. To allow them time to stock shelves and perform a thorough clean of the store for the next day, we have decided to temporarily change our trading hours. We want to let you know that there is more than enough food to go around; we just need your patience and support. We will continue to re-evaluate these hours on a weekly basis and communicate the decision to either uphold these hours or return to normal trading hours. We appreciate that these new times may be an inconvenience and we thank you in advance for your understanding.
